The opera *Jadwiga, Queen of Poland* was composed in 1814 and is one of Kurpiński’s most important operas. Konrad’s aria is listed in the Polish Music Portal’s catalog of compositions as a separate piece from this opera. It is one of the works that clearly demonstrate his significance as a leading composer of pre-Moniuszko Polish opera.
